Unfortunately Fortunato's Fate- Story 2 Part 3

Ok, I’ve got the story and let me just prepare you all when I say it ain’t pretty. But a promise is a promise, so here’s what happened; as I’ve said before, Fortunato and Montresor had some sort of falling out, but are now seemly good. Yet many have had suspicions of whether this is a one-sided friendship, as Montresor never appeared to have fully gotten over their drama. And as I’ve said before, Montresor knew Fortunato was easily drunk, and the two were last seen entering Montresor’s catacombs, but only Montresor exited. I’ve had people stand outside the only exit for 2 hours now, and nothing. But now this truth has come to me. Montresor, too, was drunken tonight, and the police found him, questioning him. That must’ve been strong, because he sand like a canary! He confessed that he knew Fortunato was ill, and that Amontillado story- all a fake just to lure him in to the trap. Montresor then shoved Fortunato into the space where he claimed there was sherry! He chained Fortunato to the chamber and walled it up completely, leaving him to die. Luckily workers are on their way to help out while Montresor is now waiting for his sentence, having been denied trial by jury. Not so fortunate, huh?
